Is it okay to use massage chair when pregnant?

I was just sitting here and suddenly remembered that we do have a massage chair with built in heating pad in the back bedroom and I was just wondering if it would be safe to use. I am wondering more about the heating pad because it does get pretty hot...I am 28 weeks pregnant and do have a low lying placenta (marginal). Just looking to ease the back pain a little but not at the cost of harming myself or my baby...

腰酸背痛的福音~ The back support (Lumbar Support& Adjustable seat cushion) can be found everywhere. Car and airline seats, and office chairs, are shaped and angled to meet tough ergonomic demands. The back support is one of the most important parts in reaching the desired level of comfort and effectiv- eness. They also need to be adjustable we all have different physiques.

back massager… on your eye?

danyelle really likes back massagers.

I am 22 weeks 4 days. My back ache is horrible, a real nagging pain which goes from the bottom of my back upto the middle. I am having trouble sleeping which isn't helping but hubby got me a pregnancy pillow yesterday which I'm sure should help. He works away a lot also so I can only get a massage when he's home. Warm baths don't seem to do much to ease it. I have a wheat bag which you heat in the microwave and when I put this on it really does seem to ease it but I'm worrying that it can't be hot because I know people mentioned you cant go in hot baths or jacuzzi's or get too hot in general as this is bad for the pregnancy, but if the bag isn't very warm then it does nothing to ease the pain. Is it ok to use these?

Today I vaulted a fence about 4ft in height. I landed on my feet with my right arm behind me (on the fence). When I landed I felt a crunching/tearing feeling in the lower right of my back. I'm now in a lot of pain. Does any one know anythnig that might soothe it.

P.S. Have put some ibuprofen gel on it but it hasn't helped.

IF YOU'RE NOT GONNA BE SERIOUS, DON'T ANSWER!
I've got to make a massager for my product design A level and i'm doing this survey to find out people's views. I need older people to answer this because I have too many teenager's answers at the moment. Don't try saying funny stuff coz you'll have only wasted 5mins of your life replying to my question. I will submit this in several different areas, so don't bother telling me it's in the wrong place. Okay, so...

question 1: what gender are you?

question 2: what age are you?

question 3: what's most important to you in a product? Rate the following options from 1 to 4 (1 being the most important)...
a) looks

d) if it's eco-friendly or not

question 4: what style do you identify most with? e.g. minimalism, art deco, new design, futuristic stuff, gothic stuff, luxurious stuff, conservative stuff, 'green' stuff etc.

question 6: how many hours do you sleep a week?

question 7: how often do you feel stressed?

question 8: what do you do to relax?

question 9: have you ever had a massager before? if yes - from who & how many times?

question 10: what material would you like a massager to be made from?

question 11: what would you like the massager to do?

Lower Back Pain…?

My lower back constantly aches when I wake up in the morning. I have a very firm, custom made futon mattress. Short of buying a new mattress (like a PosturePedic), what can I do to stop this? It is a dull ache, that gets a little better over the course of the day, but typically needs either a massage or a hottub to go away. Help! :( Thanks in advance
19 year old female, EXTREMELY acute Spina Bifita (hairline crack in a vertabrea, hasnt affected development or lifestyle), I sleep on my stomach with one leg up, or on my side. Switch to sleeping on my back once it starts hurting around 3 am. I bought the futon mattress because initially it really helped my back. Springy matresses let my back bend while I am sleeping, which results in pain.

Massage cushion!

I love this massage cushion by Homedics! It's not the fanciest one out there, but I like it. It's under and if you're a traveler - on the road a lot - this is for you! Vibrate (hi/low) options along with heat. I find it great in the car as well as sitting at the computer! Just saying...it's my Dealio of the Week!
